Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald reports that the Dallas Cowboys have expressed interest in Dolphins quarterback John Beck.
Beck, a second-round pick a year ago, is likely the odd man odd after the arrival of Chad Pennington, who was cut by the Jets a day after Brett Favre was acquired via trade.
Neither Beck nor Josh McCown played in the team’s most recent preseason game, a win over Jacksonville.
Per Salguero, the Cowboys are willing to give up a low-round pick for the former BYU quarterback.
