Irvin wonders how Romo outplayed Peyton Manning
Michael Irvin appeared on ESPN on the Dan Patrick show. Irvin rambled on about how Tony Romo outplays Peyton Manning, and to prove his point he mentions with a snicker, “There must be some brothers in that line somewhere, somewhere there are some brothers [in the Irvin wonders how Romo outplayed Peyton Manning line.] I don’t know who saw what, where, maybe his great, great, great, great Grandma ran over in the ‘hood or something went down.”
Meanwhile, Dan Patrick, attempting to divert the conversation remarked that there are more ways to become a great athlete, but Irvin continued to play Charles Darwin by saying, “Maybe his great, great, great Grandma pulled one of them studs up outta the barn and said ‘come here for a second’ you know, and they go and work out in the yard, you know, back in the day.”
All this just to suggest that Tony Romo, who is white, with all his skills, just had to come from an African-American heritage.
