Brady's Five Touchdowns Lead Patriots Over Cowboys: NFL Week 6
Oct. 14 (Bloomberg) -- Tom Brady threw five touchdown passes to lead the New England Patriots over the Dallas Cowboys 48-27 in a matchup of two of the three remaining unbeaten teams in the National Football League.
Brady completed 31 of 46 passes for 388 yards, connecting with Randy Moss, Kyle Brady, Donte Stallworth and twice with Wes Welker for scores as the Patriots improved to 6-0 and handed the Cowboys (5-1) their first loss. The Patriots and Indianapolis, which had a bye this week, are now the only teams without a loss.
The Cowboys led briefly early in the third quarter, marking the first time this season New England has trailed in the second half, before the Patriots scored 17 straight points to make it 38-24. Brady has thrown at least three touchdown passes and New England has scored at least 34 points in each of its wins this season.
Stallworth finished with seven catches for 136 yards, Welker caught 11 passes for 124 yards and Moss had six receptions for 59 yards. The Patriots ran for 75 yards on 29 carries, including the final score of the game by Kyle Eckel.
Tony Romo threw for 199 yards, two touchdowns and an interception. He found Terrell Owens and Patrick Crayton for scores in the loss.

Philadelphia 16, New York Jets 9: Donovan McNabb threw for 278 yards and a touchdown, and Brian Westbrook ran for 120 yards for the Eagles (2-3). The Jets are 1-5.

Jacksonville 37, Houston 17: David Garrard threw two touchdown passes and Maurice Jones-Drew ran for 125 yards and a pair of scores for the Jaguars (4-1). The Texans are 3-3.
Baltimore 22, St. Louis 3: Willis McGahee had a 6-yard touchdown run and Matt Stover kicked five field goals for the Ravens (4-2). The Rams are 0-6.
Cleveland 41, Miami 31: Derek Anderson threw three touchdown passes to Braylon Edwards for the Browns (3-3). Cleo Lemon ran for two touchdowns and threw for two in his first start for the Dolphins (0-6).
Kansas City 27, Cincinnati 20: Damon Huard threw for 264 yards and two touchdowns and Larry Johnson ran for 119 yards and one score for the Chiefs (3-3). The Bengals are 1-4.
San Diego 28, Oakland 14: LaDainian Tomlinson rushed for 198 yards and four touchdowns for the Chargers (3-3). The Raiders are 2-3.
Carolina 25, Arizona 10: The Panthers (4-2) rallied with 16 fourth-quarter points to beat Arizona, as newly signed quarterback Vinny Testaverde threw for 206 yards and a score. The Cardinals are 3-3.
